Hyundai Motor India has provided a glimpse of the exterior and interior of the upcoming Creta facelift ahead of its launch in India on January 16. The India-spec Creta facelift will showcase distinct features in comparison to the global model.
Embracing Hyundai's latest design concept, 'Sensuous Sportiness,' the revamped Creta boasts a refreshed front section characterized by a more upright hood and a new face. The grille design is reminiscent of the existing Hyundai Venue Additionally, the SUV features new quad-beam LED headlamps with a connected LED DRL signature. The front bumper has a more robust appearance with an enlarged air dam. The rear of the SUV will sport connected LED taillights and a redesigned bumper.
Inside, the updated Creta will include a modernized cabin with a wide dual-screen display, introducing a fully digital instrument cluster to the SUV's features. The dashboard design has changed, accompanied by a more sophisticated center console featuring a new gear lever design and an updated steering wheel. The Creta facelift will also provide advanced safety features such as 360-view cameras, up to 6 airbags, and level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
The new Hyundai Creta will offer three engine choices: a 1.5l Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol, a 1.5l MPi Petrol, and a 1.5l U2 CRDi Diesel. The SUV comes with four transmission options, including a 6-speed Manual, IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), and 6-speed Automatic transmission.
